Lately my skin has been feeling extra dry. I know, I know…..it’s a common problem this time of year, but what I’ve been experiencing was much more acute than the normal dry weather skin I usually have. That, coupled with rounding the corner on another birthday and the gravity that comes with it ?, sent me looking for solutions……but here’s where it gets tricky…….
Like most women, the internal dialogue of guilt and self-imposed expectations can be loud and strong. So without hesitation I dug into my search with a vengeance. After a lot of research, I decided to try a Microcurrent Facial.

I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect other than knowing it’s referred to as the “natural” face lift and I was blown away by the results.

Amy: No

Amy: Botox can cause muscle atrophy because it paralyzes facial muscles. So microcurrent “is essential if you do Botox,” because it re-stimulates the frozen muscle and keeps the paralyzed forehead muscles lifted, not slack.
Q: My skin is currently very dry. Will this help with hydration?
Amy: We’re going to finish your treatment with a stem cell mask with microcurrent which is going to enhance hydration in addition to promoting collagen synthesis and reducing expression lines.
